Communication spans all aspects of a teacher's job. Email, phone calls, "how-to" videos, project instruction, project instructional videos, examples, tweets, remind101.com texts, and good old fashioned mailings of letters and post cards are all essential communication tools in a teachers tool box.
Three of the most essential forms of online communication for student directions include providing a current and detailed calendar of events, detailed information postings on the LMS (with companion emails) for assignment requirements, and video messages (such as "How-to" examples, as needed.
